We know you're busy. That's why it's important to make a plan for how and when you're going to vote. Use the resources below to get prepared for Election Day. 

Check your voter registration.

Even if you think you are, it's a great idea to check ahead of time! Click "Check My Status" and enter your name to make sure you're registered to vote.

Need to register or update your information? You can do so online or fill out a form and return it to the Board of Elections. The deadline to register is Monday, April 7th.

Early voting options. 

Early voting begins on Tuesday, April 8th. Interested in avoiding the lines on Election Day? You have two options.
IN PERSON
You can vote early in person at the Board of Elections office located in the Coshocton County Services Building. Like voting on Election Day, you must provide an acceptable form of photo ID. The office is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00pm.

BY MAIL
​You can vote by mail between April 8th and May 5th. The first step is to fill out an absentee ballot application and send it to the Coshocton County Board of Elections. They will accept applications until April 29th at 8:30 pm. If you request an absentee ballot, it will be mailed to you starting on April 8th.

Absentee ballots returned by mail need to be postmarked by May 5th to be counted. You can also return your ballot in person to the Board of Elections office or drop box no later than 7:30 pm on May 6th.

Vote on Election Day.

Election Day is Tuesday, May 6th. The polls will be open from 6:30 am to 7:30 pm. ​You must vote at your designated polling location. There is no voting at the County Services Building on Election Day.
